1-1.5 Hour sessions

I’m a mother and have been taking photographs of children for many years. I try to book sessions with naps and feeding times in mind to make sure everyone is at their best.

These shoots are light-hearted and fun, with a bit of gentle direction. Each session is different, with the unique dynamic that flows naturally between you and your family. Some children like to sing, make silly noises, tell jokes, dance, jump around, clap hands, play peekaboo and generally have a fun time, while others might just want to sit and talk quietly or play with toys while my camera discreetly captures them.

This session is for children who are able to sit unaided all the way through to teenagers. It’s a great way to celebrate milestones such as birthdays and makes great gift ideas for parents and grandparents. Once their cheekiness starts to shine through it’s a fantastic time to book your photography session to capture their growing personality.

The non refundable session fee of £50 is required upon booking- click here for more information. The session fee does not include any images or products- this covers the shoot itself and the post processing of your images.

Please note I cannot secure your provisional session slot until this has cleared. Once your session is confirmed, I send over all pre session info and a questionnaire to help personalise your session to meet your individual needs. I am also happy to chat through any queries or requests before the session.

The Session

All photography shoots take place in my home studio which is in Cambridge New Zealand. Tea and coffee is supplied throughout the session but I would advise you to bring a snack in case you get peckish during the shoot.

My sessions are completely child led. Some toddlers and children are shy and some come in bouncing off the walls ready to get going. Either is fine by me!

After Your Session

After your session , I professionally edit your images to the highest standard. I will send you a few sneak peaks and upload them onto our facebook wall. Once you have made payment in full I will download all the images for you on a USB drive for you to collect as well as a blocked canvas. I strongly believe that professional imagery deserves a place on the wall- all too often they end up stuck in digital form on computer hard drives or on USBs at the back of a draw. I believe we should print what we want to preserve, and because of that I offer a blocked canvas, so that the most important thing in your world can be put up proudly on display in your homes.
